Our Views on Litigation, Arbitration, and Mediation

Having recognized the disadvantages of litigation, the legal community has spent much time developing and advancing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques, such as mediation and arbitration. ADR allows disputes to be settled in a more efficient, private, and amicable matter, with all parties leaving the table satisfied with the results.

There are times, however, when ADR fails, every creative solution has been rejected, or the matter is not well-suited to ADR in general. When this is the case, litigation is often the necessary last resort, and, if the client is agreeable, we will press for trial. Though we all dislike litigation and try to keep it at a minimum, we pride ourselves on our ability to successfully argue cases in front of all levels of court and all administrative tribunals.

We are also committed to advising our clients on steps they can take to avoid future disputes and litigation.
